BCDLAA Executive – Director

I started teaching in K-3 classrooms 20 years ago. After taking a few years off to raise my daughters, I was introduced to the world of Distributed/Blended Learning at Navigate NIDES. I spent the next seven years teaching K-7 DL students as well as providing tech support for our school. In 2013 I took on the role of Vice Principal at Navigate NIDES and have worked with all of our K-9 programs. In 2016 I had the privilege of joining the VIU faculty as one of the instructors for the Online Learning and Teaching Graduate Diploma Program.

I am grateful for the many opportunities I have had in the world of Distributed/Blended Learning to work alongside extraordinary educators and programs. I am a strong believer in relationship, community and collaboration. I am honoured to be part of the BCDLAA Executive and look forward to working with everyone.
